Notice of Adoption of Preliminary Budget and Intent to Adopt Final Budget, Fiscal Year 2025-26
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Directors will adopt the Preliminary Budget for Fiscal Year 2025-26 of the South Placer Fire District at a special meeting on June 24, 2025. The preliminary budget is available online at www.southplacerfire.org or by contacting the District Clerk at https://www.southplacerfire.org/contact-us/ or by phone at 916-791-7059. The preliminary budget is also available for inspection Monday through Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (closed from 12:00 to 12:30 p.m.) at 6900 Eureka Road, Granite Bay, CA 95746.
ADDITIONAL NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Directors will hold a public hearing to adopt the final budget for fiscal year 2025-26. All interested parties are invited to attend the hearing and express their views regarding any item in the budget or propose the addition of new items. The public hearing will take place on September 16, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. at the South Placer Fire District Headquarters, located at 6900 Eureka Road, Granite Bay, CA 95746. This meeting will be conducted in person and may also be viewed online. Details on how to access the online version will be provided in the Board Agenda, published on the Friday prior to the meeting. Additionally, the public may submit comments electronically by sending them to the District Clerk at www.southplacerfire.org/contact-us. To submit comments via U.S. Mail, please send them to the South Placer Fire District, Attn: District Clerk, at 6900 Eureka Road, Granite Bay, CA 95746, to arrive no later than 5:00 p.m. one day before the meeting.

Burn permits also are issued over-the-counter, Monday-Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, at the following fire stations:
- Station 16 – 5300 Olive Ranch Road, Granite Bay
- Station 17 – 6900 Eureka Road, Granite Bay
- Station 18 – 5840 Horseshoe Bar Road, Loomis
- Station 20 – 3505 Auburn-Folsom Road, Loomis
Illegal Fireworks
It is currently illegal to use, purchase or sell fireworks, including “safe and sane” fireworks, in the South Placer Fire District. .
